25 April 2010

Welcome to church.  Last Sunday God again performed a miracle.  I believe last week’s meeting was the most significant of our building programme.  We faced the challenge of a shortfall, and would be united in our belief that in God we could do it.  That money, from ourselves and from outside sources would come in so that we could progress forward and build to another stage and then complete the project.  The vote showed that an amazing 97% of us are united in belief and on the same page.  I give God glory for this.  That had been my prayer to Him leading up to the meeting.

The building team have delayed the start date for a week, so that the contract paperwork can be carefully scrutinized before signing.  A prudent decision that I’m sure we are all in agreement with.  You will notice today that the Community Lounge building has been prepared for transportation on Monday.  Please keep clear.

Soular power has a meeting for all parents of intermediate age children after church in my office to discuss the 3 - 6 month interim arrangements.  The crèche begins its operation in my office from today.

Please continue to pray for the mission’s team in Samoa.  They have had a great time, although there has been little communication in the past week.  Most are due home on Tuesday.

Sincerely,  John and Sandra
