15 August 2010

Good morning Church,

Welcome to church today.   If you are visiting with us, a very warm welcome.   It has been an exciting week to be around the church premises as the steel structures for the new building have been put in place.  The building site is now a NO GO area without a hard hat and appropriate footwear so we will all need to just watch from behind the fence!!

It is an exciting time for us as a church as we head towards our ‘special offering’ on 29 August.   Can I encourage us all to continue to seek God and ask Him what our response should be?   Let’s also continue to believe that the project can be finished debt free and for the funding applications that are currently being considered.

Our new Church Directory is ready for the printer and should be available over the next few weeks. A special thank you to Glen Coates for designing a new data base that will make future editions much easier to produce, and to Katherine Monson and her team for gathering all the data and photos.

Have a great day
Warren
