To know Christ, and make him known
Worship
We are a people of Worship. We exist to glorify God. It is our highest calling and our constant occupation. He is the focus of our songs, our service, and our lives. We value both our time together in church and our time out in the world, believing that all of our lives are opportunities to worship the Father in Spirit and in truth. By prioritising worship, we ensure that Jesus remains at the center of everything we do. We are a people pursuing intimacy with God through worship, faithfulness and obedience.
Word
We are a people of the Word. We acknowledge the Bible as our final authority. We submit to Christ through the Scriptures, practising a Word-based spirituality that is active and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Whether through expository preaching, small group study, and personal devotion, we seek to be shaped by a biblical worldview. We don't just study the Word; we aim to live it out, trusting the Spirit to help us apply and obey God’s truth in every area of life.
Spirit
We are a people of the Holy Spirit. We recognise our total dependence on the Holy Spirit for salvation, spiritual growth, understanding the Scriptures and every area of ministry. We seek to experience God in authentic ways. We actively pursue the Spirit’s work in our lives—from sanctification, the fruit of the Spirit, to the powerful expression of His gifts like healing, deliverance, and prophecy.
We are committed to hearing God’s voice and following His lead, believing that prayer—both personal and together as a church—is the engine of our faith. We live with a holy expectation, praying for revival in our church, across New Zealand and the world.
Community
We are a community where everyone is loved, valued and welcomed. We believe in being real with one another—acknowledging that growing in love and holiness is a process. We emphasise the priesthood of all believers and the Body of Christ, where everyone has their unique part to play. We seek to grow as disciples and be transformed by the Holy Spirit.
We are a family that practices the "one another’s" of Scripture—carrying each other's burdens and offering practical care to each other. Leaders model servanthood and grace, following Jesus’ example. People are honoured and empowered for ministry in our community.
Mission
We are a people of Mission, both locally and globally. We believe that at the heart of mission, is the Spirit-filled proclamation of the biblical gospel message, often accompanied by signs, wonders and healings. Moved by Jesus’ heart for the lost and those in need, we proclaim the gospel and actively minister to the poor and serve those with physical needs in our local area. We actively work with the wider Body of Christ, as God grows his Kingdom. Everyone is included in the Great Commission.
We believe that the Bible is God's Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
We believe in one eternal God who is the creator of all things. He exists in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and 'new birth' we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe in the power and significance of the church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the 'breaking of bread'.We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives, which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the church and serve the community in which we live.
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively.
We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
