Prayer

Prayer

Prayer is a vital part of our lives with Christ. In the bible, the Apostle Paul urges us to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18) and while we have our own dialogue throughout the day with God, it is also important to meet together to pray in agreement. Below are regular opportunities to meet to pray.

Regular Prayer Meetings

We have a number of regular prayer meetings which people are welcome to attend:

Tranzsend prayer shared lunch: Every second Wednesday of the month, at 1pm, a team meet to hear updates about the work of Tranzsend workers and to bring them to God in prayer over a shared lunch. Located at St Albans Church - contact Kaye Hills for details

Tuesdays 9am General staff prayer meeting for church and wider community

Pre-service Prayer meeting Sundays 9am in the Forum

Healing rooms: Meet once monthly (Aim for the first Saturday of the month), there are healing rooms open from 10am - 11am in the Redwood Lounge for anyone seeking prayer for healing. This may be physical, emotional or spiritual healing. Come along for our team to pray for you. No bookings needed.

Requesting Prayer

It can be very hard to be feeling alone when battling a difficult situation. If you would like to request that people be praying for you, you can either attend one of our prayer meetings, or send a prayer request into the office. We have a team of intercessors who meet regularly to pray and who will keep confidentiality for sensitive issues.
